The European Green Bond Regulation, introducing the European Green Bond Standard (EU-GBS) adopted by the EU Council and Parliament on 22 November 2023 after years of debates and discussions shall enter into force on the 20th of December 2023 even if it will start to apply as from 21 December 2024.
