The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published its final report guidelines on fund names using ESG or sustainability-related terms. The purpose of the Guidelines is to define the conditions where the fund names using ESG or sustainability-related terms are unfair, unclear or misleading. The Guidelines will apply three months after the date of their publication on ESMA’s website in all EU official languages:
